Outdoor Therapy

Outdoor therapy or “walk and talk” sessions take place in parks and rural areas in the northwest of Sheffield. This is the same as traditional counselling but with the added benefit of being in a beautiful environment. You’re also getting some light exercise – or we can sit if you prefer. Some people find it easier to talk while walking and it can help with relaxation, mood and processing emotions.

If you want to, we can also bring the experience of nature into your therapy more explicitly, which is called ecotherapy

It is possible to have a flexible mix of online, therapy room, and outdoor sessions or to switch a single session to online if you can’t attend in person but don’t want to miss the session.
